只见，楚浩然播放起了一段录像：

“浩然，当你看到这一段录像后，妈大概已经不在了。妈之所以录这一段录像，是因为害怕你有朝一日会去做大事，你亲爸不靠谱，没有人在你身边指引的话，或许有时候真的太无助了。浩然，那本相册里夹着一株奇异草，是妈当情报员的时候别人给的，是冰川时代的植物，可做成起死回生灵药的一味药材，切记，不到万不得已的时候不得使用……”

“Jackson,  what  are  you  doing?（杰克逊，你在干嘛？）”这时，本走了过来。

“Oh,  nothing...（哦，没什么。）”楚浩然立马关了手机，回过头，开口道，“Ben,  I'm  going  to  the  lab  to  do  an  experiment.  Could  you  arrange  the  equipment  for  me?（本，我去实验室做一个实验，帮我安排一下仪器。）”

“Oh,  I'd  like  to  test  a  hypothesis  and  see  if  we  can  develop  a  kind  of  medicine.（哦，我想试验一下一个猜想，看看能不能配一种药出来。）”楚浩然淡淡说道。

“OK,  you  can  try.（好吧，你可以试试。）”丽莎开口道。

只见，楚浩然走了进去，开始了实验，本紧跟其后。

“I'm  not  sure,  but  if  possible,  I  hope  you  could  cooperate  by  bringing  me  a  gas  mask.（不知道，如果有的话我希望你可以配合我一下，帮我拿个防毒面具过来。）”楚浩然开口道。

“There's  no  need  for  such  hassle.  We  have  now  invented  a  kind  of  pill  that  can  protect  against  all  harmful  gases.（不用那么麻烦，现在我们发明了一种药丸，可以防御一切有害气体。）”说着，本递过了一盒药丸。

“Wait,  what's  this?  Is  this  a  positioning  device?  Jackson,  how  could  you  make  the  same  elementary  mistake  as  Peter!（等等，这是什么，定位仪吗？杰克逊，你怎么和彼得犯同样的低级错误！）”忽然，本看到了楚浩然衣袖上的一个反光的圆片，立马伸手取了下来，顿时一惊。

与此同时，黑帮的办公室内，林赫正在查看着电脑资料。

“楚浩然？Jackson吗？FBI的最强狙击手，好的，我知道了。嗯？那是什么？”林赫放大了电脑镜头，看向了那棵奇异草，若有所思，忽然电脑上出现了信号故障，顿时断了所有的线索，林赫一惊，“哎，怎么回事，被发现了吗！”

这时，黑帮大佬的视频弹了出来！

“Boss,  I'm  Kane.（老板，我是凯恩。）”林赫立马点了开来。

“OK,  Kane.  Since  your  last  entry  into  the  time  rift  and  your  difficult  return,  what  are  your  thoughts?（好的，凯恩，自从上一次你进入了时空裂缝又好不容易回来了，你有什么想法吗？）”黑帮大佬戴着变声器，有些严肃，开口道。

“Oh,  nothing...（哦，没什么。）”林赫接着说道，“Boss,  on  the  plane  that  entered  the  time  rift,  I  tracked  down  a  young  man  and  identified  him  as  a  FBI  member  Chu  Haoran  Jackson.（老板，在那架进入时空裂缝的飞机上，我定位了一个小子的行踪，并查到了他是FBI的楚浩然杰克逊。）”

“Jackson!  It's  him  again!（杰克逊！又是他！）”顿时，黑帮大佬一惊。

“What  happened?  Boss,  have  others  encountered  him  before  and  engaged  in  combat  with  him?（怎么了？老板，你们之前遇到过他，和他交过手吗？）”林赫问道。

“Yes,  he's  still  a  tough  opponent.（对的，还是一个难缠的对手。）”黑帮大佬开口道。

“Boss,  I'm  sorry.  There  was  an  issue  with  my  positioning  device  just  now.  It  seems  to  have  been  damaged.（老板，很抱歉，刚才我的定位仪出了一点意外，大概被毁掉了。）”林接着说道，“Now  that  we  have  no  clues  left,  what  should  we  do  next?（现在又没了线索，我们接下来要做什么？）”

“Don't  care  about  it.  Dan's  experiment  has  succeeded,  and  the  first  monster  from  the  gang  has  hatched.（别当回事，丹的实验成功了，第一只黑帮的怪物孵化出来了。）”黑帮大佬嘴角微微上扬，开口道。

“Hatching  monsters?  What  is  that?（孵化怪物？那是什么？）”林赫再次一愣。

“We  can  extract  the  blood  of  that  monster  at  any  time  to  make  potions,  Kane.（我们可以随时提取那只怪物的血液炼药，凯恩。）”黑帮大佬接着说道。

“Is  there  anything  special  about  its  blood?（它的血液有什么特别的吗？）”林赫问道。

“Yes,  extracting  the  blood  from  that  monster  saves  time  by  avoiding  the  need  to  travel  to  remote  areas  to  gather  medicinal  herbs  for  making  potions.  Otherwise,  it  would  be  a  complete  waste  of  time.（对，提取那只怪物的血液可以减少去边远地区找药材炼药，否则太浪费时间了。）”黑帮大佬开口道。

“Oh  no,  boss,  I  wouldn't  do  that.（哦，不会，老板，我不会那样。）”听到这儿，林赫再次一惊。

“Hmph,  I  doubt  you  dare  not  do  that  either.  Keep  it  up,  Kane.（哼哼哼，谅你也不敢，好好干吧，凯恩。）”说着，黑帮大佬下了线。

“Yes,  sir.（好的，老板。）”林赫说道。

听到这儿，林赫顿时陷入了沉思，是的，要不是有个不为人知的缘由，他又为何会留在黑帮呢……
